My Day Exploring Lottery 447 – in Tewantin

Lucas is an employee at Endeavour Foundation’s Business Solutions Wacol and with the Marketing team. He’s a brilliant writer and is the ambassador of our New Year’s Prize – Lottery #447. In this blog, he shares a little bit about himself, and his day at our latest Prize Home at 15 George Street, Tewantin.

Hello readers, my name is Lucas and I have been with Endeavour Foundation working at various sites and employed in different roles for a decade or so now.

I’ve been writing short stories since a very young age, covering topics such as the Easter Bunny, the Big Bad Wolf, and other important issues.

Joining the Marketing team this year, I’ve found myself stepping out of my comfort zone, growing my confidence, and doing things I never imagined, which I feel has made me a better person.

I was fortunate enough to have a special look at Lottery #447 Prize Home, located in Tewantin, in the heart of Noosa Shire, and I wanted to share my memorable experience with you.

On a beautifully sunny day in Brisbane, I made the 1.75-hour drive to see the Prize Home. As I pulled into the driveway, I knew instantly that this would be a great house for our Endeavour Foundation Lotteries supporters, and I was right!

As I walked through the front door, I could instantly see my family, including my dog Charlie, really making themselves comfortable here in what is a nice, open plan home.

Enjoy the serenity of a stylish coastal house nestled in a highly sought-after and quiet location in Noosa Shire.

This is a house where a lifetime’s worth of memories can be made. You could do whatever your heart desires. Whether it is to spend quality time with your family or entertain guests, there is space for everyone.

The kitchen is often called the heart of the home. Your whole family can gather around this large island bench for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. With double ovens and an adjoining butler’s pantry, you are ready to cook up a storm. Personally, I think a cheese pizza would be an excellent treat to prepare for yourself in the oven of your new kitchen after a busy day at the beach – which by the way is only a 17 minute drive away.

Cool off on warm summer days by the pool.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would be spending hours in the pool if I were lucky enough to call this house my own. I might even be kind enough to invite friends over and share the joy this pool will have brought me.

If you were to ever have guests visiting, why not have dinner outside in the Alfresco area where you can enjoy the Coastal breezes to make your time in their company truly special?

Or if you’ve made dinner reservations at one of many fancy restaurants on Hastings Street, you can always enjoy nibbles and drinks in the bar area, before heading out. The options are truly endless.

A private primary suite to rest and recover

When the day ends, all I want to do is hop into bed with my dog and relax. I like this bedroom because it offers plenty of open space, as well as a unique walk-in wardrobe that is completely hidden behind a wall.

Cruise to the beach or to the hinterlands in your Vespas or convertible Mini Cooper

The location of this house is truly a dream, as it is close to cafes, walking tracks and some of the best beaches Australia has to offer.

I personally enjoyed going to Lucio’s Marina at the Noosa Marina – it’s really a pleasant experience to be wined and dined by the Noosa River.

If my writing hasn’t convinced you yet, then take a look at this house tour I did with Kirsty. And, if you watch until the end, you’ll be in for a treat!

One of the great things about Noosa is that there are markets for every person and their dog. And just a five-minute drive from the Prize Home is the Noosa Marina markets that are on every Sunday.

With many places to explore on foot, in your Vespas, or in your brand new Mini Cooper convertible, there’s so much for you to do if you were to win this prize home.

It must be said though, that whoever wins this house will have themselves a little slice of coastal heaven. For as little as $10, this amazing house, two Vespas and a convertible Mini Cooper could be yours so, why not buy yourself a ticket?

Not only will doing so give you the chance to win a life changing prize in the new year, but you would also be helping people with disability to learn life skills, gain meaningful employment, live independently, and be an active part of their community.
